                Masliah Lab -- Required Safety Training

                    New Lab Employees, Student Workers, Visiting Scholars.........

                    A.) UCSD Lab Safety Plan

                    Please Read & Review chapters 1 through 12, and chapter 23 (bio-safety)

                    Print out and sign a copy of the 'Lab Safety Plan Training Sheet' (page 61)

                    B.) Safety Training Courses - EHS

                     Please *enroll (follow the link to UCSD Enrollment Central ) and attend the following

                   safety training classes:

  1.) Laboratory Safety for Professionals / IIPP

                            2.) Biosafety - Blood Bourne Pathogen Training (BBPS)

                              3.) Radiation - Basic Radiation Safety Seminar (only if you will be using isotopes in your work).

                       * Work Study students must enroll by phone or email at Staff Education.(x44890)

                        You will be given a certificate of completion for all the above training sessions,

                         please  give a copy to Magdalena Torrance for filing.
