Reflections About Margaret - Lawrence Hansen, M.D.
All humans are unique, but to paraphrase George Orwell, some humans are more unique than others. Such was Margaret . She was a composite of virtues which are not typically encountered together in a single individual. Her indefatigable capacity for productive work was coupled with a joy for friendship and socializing. Her intelligence and analytical skills were accompanied by a highly developed fashion sense and pleasure in beauty and style. Her many strengths never engendered in her the least trace of conceit, although she accomplished much of which to be proud. Her loyalty to her friends was boundless, and only death could end her willingness to help us whenever we needed her. We will not see her like again....
